Eddie Small will take us through Dundee’s industrial history. In Hidden Voices: Uncovering Stories of Asylum Care, Caroline and Jacqui will examine the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and explore what it was like to be a patient in an asylum in the 19th century. They will also discuss how this research can inform approaches to mental health care today. All three speakers will then join Emma of Go Industrial! to discuss history, industrial heritage and identity.
